Black hard anodized 7075 Aluminum is super tough and forms the foundation of the knife, supporting a smooth Green Micarta top and a Two-Tone DLC finished, 154CM stainless steel blade for exceptional, all-around performance. The PT/Emerson CQC-7 Tanto auto is a high quality collaboration that brings the best elements of Emerson design and Protech manufacturing to a single knife.

Blade: Paired with a razor sharp chisel grind, the Tanto point delivers high level durability while still providing solid cutting performance. Made from American 154CM stainless steel, the blade has a fine satin finish on the flats with a durable and corrosion resistant black Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC on the grinds, spine and back of the blade for a classy two-tone look. 154CM is an excellent working steel proving a good balance of performance. The chisel, mid-height saber grind offers a good mix of strength and slicing performance that is a perfect fit with this tactical design. The blade deploys smooth and fast via a button operated coil spring mechanism.

Handle: The classic Emerson handle design is retained and made from super tough 7075 aluminum with a black, Class III, military grade hard anodization. The standard aluminum top has been replaced with smooth Green Micarta, exclusive to GPKnives, for a great look and feel. Jimping from the thumb ramp extends down the spine of the handle for added traction and control. This handle is secure and comfortable in a variety of grip positions and helps to keep the knife under 4 ounces for a great everyday carry weight. Smooth, reliable and intuitive the button lock mechanism delivers secure operation during use. A generous hole at the pommel end is provided for secure lanyard attachment. Construction is finished with DLC coated hardware.
