The Ultratech dual action out the front automatic knife from Microtech sets the standard for the category. This Signature Series Hellhound Tanto variation has gray hardware and a two-toned, Apocalyptic Satin finished blade.

Blade: Equipped with a handsome two-tone Apocalyptic/satin finish, the Tanto point blade has a plain standard cutting edge. The Hellhound Tanto blade has a wicked upper swedge and saw-back spine and is made from high performance, premium stainless steel. The grinds are finished in the blasted and tumbled Apocalyptic finish while the fullers and machined holes have a matching blasted finish and the flats are a bright satin. Sporting a dueling blasted/satin effect the saw-back spine is an eye-catching feature on the sub-3.5 inch blade. A double action opening and retracting mechanism offers fast and smooth action. Simply move the matte gray thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: Smooth black 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum creates a comfortable feel in-hand and a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. There are several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides aiding in grip. This lighter more ergonomic grip is easy on the hands and eyes. The handle’s construction is completed with Microtech’s proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with signature/date of production.
