The Microtech Socom Elite Auto offers the high-end performance Microtech is known for in a button operated, full-size automatic tactical folder. This Signature Series version features a plain edge, American CTS-204P Tanto blade with tumbled black DLC coating, Black hard anodized aircraft grade aluminum handles with traction inserts and bronzed hardware.

Blade: The Socom Elite sports a beefy 4-inch blade of high performance, American CTS-204P stainless steel with a durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant black Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC coating. The high height saber grind offers an excellent combination of durability and slicing performance while the Tanto point is one of the toughest and most powerful piercing profiles. Only the Talon logo and blade steel marking adorn the blade for a minimalist look. The blade opens lightning quick via the large, high traction button actuator.

Handle: Constructed of durable, aircraft grade aluminum, the handles are both lightweight and tough and are finished in a Black hard anodization for a discreet look. Black traction inserts deliver security in the hand along with a jimped thumb ramp and jimping along both the top and bottom of the tapered pommel end. The same button that deploys the blade also disengages the rock solid plunge lock that delivers security in use. This Socom Elite is completed with Bronzed Torx Hardware, hardened steel glass breaker insert and pocket clip with signature, date and serial number.

Carries via a right hand, tip-down stainless steel pocket clip.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler’s M390.
